Some applicants have difficulty obtaining financing from traditional financial institutions because of their credit history.
We work with independent lenders who may accept an application when the file includes a qualified co-borrower.
Our role is to support you through the process in order to increase your chances of approval. We are not the lender and we do not guarantee that financing will be obtained.
Depending on the level of risk associated with the file, the financing may be disbursed in several stages.
In addition, we offer support intended to:
Every application is subject to an analysis to ensure that the financing requested matches your ability to repay, in accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act.
This analysis notably includes:
An application may be refused if we believe that the financing could worsen your financial situation.
No financing is offered without a prior analysis.
Financing conditions vary depending on the lender and your profile.
We do not control the conditions offered by the lender and cannot guarantee the terms.
The financing offered is aimed at a higher-credit-risk clientele. This generally entails borrowing costs that are higher than those of traditional financial institutions.
Before applying, make sure that:
This type of financing should be used occasionally, particularly in case of emergency.
You are responsible for respecting the repayment terms set out in your contract with the lender.
Administrative fees may apply, notably:
In the event of a missed payment, interest may be added and additional fees may be charged.
We do not transmit your file to credit agencies such as Equifax or TransUnion.
In case of difficulty, you must contact the lender directly, ideally at least 48 hours before a withdrawal.
In the event of payment default, recovery measures consistent with applicable Canadian laws may be put in place.
The full balance could become immediately due and administrative or judicial proceedings could be initiated. Additional fees may then apply.
Once the file has been transferred to a collection agency, our ability to intervene is limited.
Renewal of financing is never automatic.
Any new application is subject to a complete analysis.
A good repayment history may make it easier to access future financing options, without guarantee.
We act as an intermediary and a support service.
We are not a financial institution and we do not lend money.
